As a first idea the space has been conceived as a fluid layout, both for pedestrians and vehicle traffic, that incorporates the different building alignments and solves the present bottleneck at the intersection with Cotonat street, that otherwise would have a difficult solution. For these reason the projects clearly states the verticality of the axis by using the pavement, the vertical alignment of the joints between pieces, intensifying the flow of the layout ant the street.
Secondly the project has decidedly included the circulations and the spatial continuity of Creu Roja street, and the other paths coming from passatge Amat and the Marquesa park. We have tried to introduce into the square the configuration system of the street and also to wrap up the surrounding spaces.
In the third place the project promotes the continuity with the Marquesa park on one side, and to keep the current configuration of Travessera de Collblanc with the north sidewalk being wider than the south one and maintaining the two circulation lanes and parking on the other.
