The Project considers the refurbishment and extension of a public running nursing and primary school, located in a 1916 preserved historical building and a small contemporary annex added in 2001.
The conceptual approach derives from the topographic condition of the site and it generates two levels that connect the access level, related to the old historic building, with the lower level of the contemporary extension and the new day care center to be built to the limit of the site plot. The project, that also include the urbanization and treatment of the exterior spaces, aims to be put together the existing parts working with a different array of exterior spaces that relate each of the different educational covered spaces.
